Farrell Joinery is a family run business based in Ballygawley set up in January 2001 by Sean Farrell, Sean previously was a director of Woodlock Joinery Ltd in Omagh and was involved in the stair Manufacture there for 37 years, at the end of 2000 Woodlock decided to stop producing Stairs, Sean saw the gap in the market and therefore took over the stair manufacture from Woodlock and started his own company called Farrell Joinery, concentrating solely on stairs.

He was joined in 2002 by his daughter Gail, who had a Bsc Hons in Communication and comes from a background of sales and marketing.

In Farrell Joinery, we pride ourselves in the fact that we are up to date with the most advanced technology available in the stair manufacturing industry: In November 2002 we purchased a Masterwood CNC machine.

What does this mean for you?

• It speeds up the manufacturing process which means that we are able to reach deadlines that would previously have been unrealistic
• We are able to produce more unique, original staircases that can be the main focal point of your home.
• You have the choice to add your own personal touch e.g. your own design feature on the string or on the riser
• The software allows us to produce a 3D image of your stairs at the design stage, which means that you can visualize the finished product before manufacture.
• During Manufacture the CNC enables us to produce Stairs to within 0.01mm of accuracy which means that all the stairs components fit together flawlessly and as a result fit the Stair Well perfectly.
• As a result of the software we are able to work along with contractors to give exact dimensions so that the Trimmers are set correctly.
  
  

Materials


As we understand the importance of using high quality timber in Stair manufacture, we at Farrell Joinery use engineered material which means that the timber is dried to the right moisture content which avoids shrinkage, warping and creaking after Stairs are installed.
